We have luxury rooms available that are suitable for cats and small dogs. We can take up to three animals in one unit, if they are from the same family and their combined weight does not exceed 20 kgs.

We can also offer your cat and dog a house together if they are special friends, but your dog must not weigh more than 15 kgs.

Each luxury unit has house furniture such as baby cots, TV, a heater when necessary, and blankets – all the creature comforts of home. The baby cots make your cat(s)/dog(s) feel like they are sleeping ‘on your bed’ at home.

Due to the location of our luxury units, our staff have close contact with the cat(s)/dog(s) while staying with us and they can give them individual play time.

The dogs go out to a fully fenced courtyard not less than three times daily for their fitness and toilet. They go out separately from each unit and our staff supervise their toilet functions, (which is mostly on concrete) so they are quick to notice if there are any problems, such as blood in the urine, diarrhoea and/or worms in the faeces. The concrete has proven to be very helpful.

Please note we only have two luxury rooms so they are on a first come, first serve basis. If you would like to make a booking for one of our rooms, please give us plenty of notice to be sure one will be available.

To stay in our luxury rooms, all cat(s)/dog(s) must be up to date with their vaccinations (valid within one year) and they must bring along their vaccination card.

Vaccinations we require are:

Dogs: Parvovirus, Distemper, Hepatitis, Adenovirus 2, Parainfluexnza, Leptospirosis and Bordetella.

Cats: Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and (Chlamydia Psittaci – optional)

You are welcome to come and inspect our luxury rooms from 11.30a.m.until 13.30p.m. daily except Sundays, school holidays and all (Auckland) public holidays.
